The mission of the Hernando County Fine Arts Council is to encourage, promote & support all the creative arts in Hernando County and provide a means to showcase the arts. To accomplish these goals the Fine Arts Council needs a steady stream of contributions from people like you.
The Hernando County Fine Arts Council is considered by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization as a division of Hernando County Government. For donors like you, this means your contributions are fully tax-deductible to the amount allowed by law.

You are more than a member, you're a "Friend of the Arts." The Hernando County Fine Arts Council is the official Hernando County art agency appointed by the Board of County Commissioners. So not to confuse the membership and the Council itself, we have developed "Friends of the Arts".
If you have already renewed your membership, you are are automatically enrolled in the "Friends" membership. But...if you are new to us...or have not officially renewed your membership, please complete the form and return it with your membership fee to the address indicated.
Get involved! With membership donations, Fine Arts Council is able to continue to support the more than 30 art organizations and groups in Hernando County. The Fine Arts Council and its many "Friends of the Arts" and volunteers continue to support events that we all can enjoy.. In the past grants have assisted the BandShell Bash;Art, Craft and Music Festival; Shakespeare Festival; and/ A Taste of Jazz.
