Hernando Beach Front Porch Art Walk

Don't miss the last art walk before it pauses for the summer! Browse a huge selection of locally made artwork & find your new favorite artist — including Featured Artist, Debbie Scofield

More than 30 artists will be exhibiting at two locations in Hernando Beach — the Silver Dolphin Restaurant and Weaver Group Realty on Shoal Line Blvd.

Our first “Dinner with the Artist” event will be on
July 17 from 6 - 8 PM at Ruby Tuesday
13095 Cortez Blvd. in Spring Hill

Join local artist, Clovis Dean Rusk, for a discussion about his artwork! Learn about his graphic arts background, his use of a limited palette, the inspiration he takes from his grandkids — and find out his first rule of art!

The Arts Council will receive 15% of dinner sales from 6-8 PM.

Summer Art Workshops for Kids

Are your kids looking for something artsy to do this summer? Check out the Classes section on our website to find summer art classes and workshops for kids! There are four art camps listed, including our summer art program at the Hernando County Public Library!

Looking for a longer art camp? Check out the Live Oak Theatre, Stage West Playhouse, and Stir Up The Gift for music, dance, theater, and art camps right here in Hernando County!

This event takes place on Saturday, September 20 and is open to anyone, from anywhere. On event day, artists will paint “en plein air” at any location in Hernando County of their choosing, using any size brush, pencil, pastel, etc., on any size paper, canvas, board, etc. — then head to the Silver Dolphin Restaurant for judging.

Pre-registration is required, and we strongly encourage you to register early! This event is limited to the first 40 participants. The deadline to be guaranteed a t-shirt is July 31.
