Front Porch Art Walk

Every second Saturday in Hernando Beach, we showcase the works of 20 - 30 artists at local businesses along Shoal Line Blvd. The next one is this Saturday, May 6 from 10 AM - 2 PM!

Join us for lunch at one of the amazing restaurants in Hernando Beach and browse the works of some talented local artists! This is the perfect stop for some last minute Mother’s Day shopping :)

Mobile Mural Auction

Don’t miss your chance to bring home an amazing piece of original artwork for a great price! Support your local artists and nonprofits, and check out the mobile murals in Downtown Brooksville. Brooksville Main Street is auctioning off the “Grown in Brooksville” murals, and most of them are going for a steal. Get your bids in before the auction ends on May 22!

The Arts Council is a proud sponsor of the Mobile Mural Project!

Auditions

SpongeBob the Musical Youth Auditions

Auditions take place Saturday, May 6 at 7 PM & Sunday, May 7 at 6 PM at Stage West (8390 Forest Oaks Blvd. in Spring Hill)

Auditions consist of a prepared song, cold readings from the script, and a dance session. Please bring tracks for your song!

Summer Art Classes

Many parents are reaching out about our Art Mark summer program for kids. The Arts Council will be finalizing our plans for Art Mark classes very soon! Be sure to check out these other upcoming art classes in Hernando County:

Miss Ali’s Art Class

An after school art program welcoming both neurotypical and neurodivergent individuals in Hernando County, Florida! This program is open to individuals ages 4-20.

Stir Up the Gift

Five exciting, and fun-filled weeks of Summer Camp for ages 5 - 14! Each week focuses on talent development components such as Singing/Dancing, Acting/Modeling, or Arts & Crafts. Camp takes place from 8 AM - 5:30 PM at the Talent Studio (3321 Princeton Road in Brooksville).

Florida Native Exhibit

The Brooksville Gallery at 201 had a successful opening night at the new “Florida Native” exhibit! Be sure to check it out if you haven’t yet - there is a beautiful variety of local artwork on display, and much is for sale!

Hours : Monday - Friday from 9 AM - 4:30 PM or by appointment
Location : 201 Howell Ave. in Brooksville
