In these challenging times, our thoughts are with those affected by the recent hurricanes. Many of our council members, local businesses, and residents have felt the impact, leading to the cancellation of many art events including the Front Porch Art Walk.

However, we’re excited to share a selection of upcoming art events that are still happening! We also put together a list of emergency grants that may be helpful for local artists.

Good news! Mermaids “Nova” and “The Rebel” have been found!

Many community members were on the look-out for two statues from the Mermaid Tale Trail after a viral TikTok showed one of them going for a swim during Hurricane Helene. We are thrilled to report that both mermaids have been found safe and sound by local residents and are currently being recovered by Florida’s Adventure Coast!

Thank you to Steve Daniel for finding “The Rebel” and to Max Harding and John Prout for bringing Mermaid “Nova” back home.
