Multicultural Parade and Mobile Mural Unveiling
This Saturday, October 7 is the 2nd Annual Multicultural Festival! After watching the parade come down E Fort Dade Ave. at 11 AM, join us in Hernando Park - for an afternoon of diverse live music, foods from around the world, free activities for kids, and 20+ new mobile murals! Front Porch Art WalkOn the other side of town, join us for the monthly Front Porch Art Walk in Hernando Beach on October 7! From 10 AM - 2 PM on the first Saturday of every month, 20+ artists exhibit at local restaurants along Shoal Line Blvd. Get to know your local artists and enjoy brunch with a view! Meeting of the Minds ExhibitJoin us for a night of visual & performance arts on Friday, October 13 from 6 - 8 PM at Gallery 201, located in Brooksville City Hall! Grant DeadlinesThe Arts Council is currently offering two grants for 2024 art projects. The Community Arts Grant offers $1,000 to local nonprofits for public art installations, murals, art events, and instruction. The Arts in Education Grant offers $500 for classroom art projects in Hernando County schools. The deadline to apply for both grants is October 6. Cuban Pathways ExhibitTonight, the Cuban Pathways exhibit opens at Gallery 201, located inside Brooksville City Hall.
