Follow the yellow brick road, and audition for the Wizard of Oz, opening soon at Stage West Playhouse!
Follow the yellow brick road in this delightful stage adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s beloved tale, featuring the iconic musical score from the MGM film. The timeless tale, in which young Dorothy Gale travels from Kansas over the rainbow to the magical Land of Oz.
When : Thursday, November 2 and Friday, November 3 from 6:00 PM – 9:30 PM

Audition Details : Audition by appointment, walk-in, or video submission. All roles are open and available. All ages are welcome. Families are encouraged.

To audition by video : email charlou6@msn.com with a photo and resume and include what role(s) for which you would like to be considered. You will receive an email in response with directions regarding sending in a self-tape audition.
Audition Requirements:
Sing 30-60 seconds of a classic musical theatre song of your choice. You must sing with a device you provide. No a cappella auditions will be allowed. Even if you are interested in a non-singing role, we would prefer you to still audition with a song.
Complete a dance audition, taught by the show choreographer (dress appropriately)
Bring a current photo of you from the shoulders up if available.
Provide ALL conflicts from November 6, 2023 through January 29, 2024
Children younger than 8 will require an older sibling or parent also be cast in the show.
Please make sure you can fully commit to the rehearsal period and performance schedule before auditioning. You must be willing to make the show a priority.

Callbacks (by invitation only) : Saturday, November 4 from 2:00pm – 5:00pm
Rehearsals : Nov. 6, 2023 – January 18, 2024, Monday – Thursday from 6:00–9:00pm, Saturdays from 10 am – 2 pm
Performance Dates : January 19, 20, 21 and 26, 27, 28, 2024

Lion/Zeke – Range: Bb2-F4
Wicked Witch of the West/Miss Gulch – Non-singing
