Audition : Death Takes a Holiday

Audition for the upcoming production of Death Takes a Holiday, opening in March at Stage West Playhouse! After years of questioning why people fear him, Death takes on human form as Prince Sirki for three days so that he can mingle among mortals and find an answer.

When : December 15 at 7:00 PM, December 16 @ 2:00 PM, & December 17 @ 2:00 PM

Audition Details :

• Be prepared to do cold readings from the script.

• Rehearsals Start: January 22nd

• Show dates: March 13-24th

• Death/Prince Sirki: Male 30's-40's
  A man of distinguished appearance with the pleasantly modulated voice of a man of the world. Slight Accent.

• Grazia: Female Mid Late Teens to early 20's
  A lovely girl, charming and gentle, but oddly remote.

• Duke: Male 40's-60's
  A fair man with an air of good health and good breeding.

• Alda: Female late 20's to early 30's
  A woman whose manner suggests a restrained restlessness and hunger.

• Stephanie: Female 40-50
  A dark rather mysterious looking woman with a rich husky voice.

• Princess: Female 40's-60's
  A fair sweet woman, maternal and solicitous.

• Rhoda: Female Mid to late 20's
  A handsome straightforward English girl of twenty-four.

• Corrado: Male Early to mid 20's
  A dark beautifully mannered man of twenty two, with a lightly dissipated face.

• Eric: Male 30's and up
  A tall, intelligent-looking Englishman

• Major Whitehead: Male 40's-60's
  A lean, tanned, distinguished soldier.
