Call for Artists : “Precious Things” Exhibit

Project Description: Gallery 201 at Brooksville City Hall is proud to announce the first show of 2024! Artists are invited to submit 1-3 pieces of your artwork for their upcoming exhibit, Precious Things , opening on January 26, 2024.
Beyond the conventional realm, what is dear to you? Precious Things invites you to unveil the unsung heroes, the quiet moments, and the unconventional treasures that make your world uniquely yours. Elevate the every day to the extraordinary by portraying a narrative that goes beyond the surface. Celebrate the uncommon and unique moments, things, people, and places that hold a precious place in your heart.
To Submit:
All proposals are due via email by January 5. Proposals must be approved before being dropped off with Gallery Curator, Pedram Moghaddam at Brooksville City Hall. Interested artists can submit proposals for this exhibit to Pedram directly via email at cityart@cityofbrooksville.us
Details:
ALL mediums are welcome, including 3-D, sculpture, and digital art. Display cases are available for items such as jewelry, fine glass, or sculpture.
All 2-D artwork must be ready-to-hang, with a wire securely attached to the back.
Two sets of display cards are required per piece - one for the back of the piece for identification, and one to be displayed. Information on the display cards include: title of piece, medium, artist, and price. If the piece is not for sale, then print “NFS”.
Student work is welcome

Proposal deadline: January 5, 2024
Drop off period: January 5, 2024 - January 12, 2024
Reception date: January 26, 2024 from 6 PM to 8 PM
Show duration: January 26, 2024 - April 19, 2024
