Brooksville Main Street Mobile Mural Program

Bringing Public Art to Brooksville

This project, coordinated by the Brooksville Main Street Design Committee, aims to enhance the value of downtown Brooksville, promote quality artwork, cause viewer interaction, provoke thought, entertain, and excite visitors through the work of public art. The Mobile Mural Project is a three-part series: Murals in the Park, Art & Wine Stroll, and the Mobile Mural Tour. We are a proud sponsor and supporter of this impactful program.

Since the project began in November 2020, Brooksville Main Street has commissioned a total of 128 murals completed by 71 individual artists and 5 student groups around the county. This program has proudly paid $56,710 to artists, directly supporting our growing art community.

Each round, Murals in the Park draws hundreds of guests to experience the magic that is public art. At the end of each series, the murals are auctioned off, with proceeds going towards artist payments for the next round of murals. Throughout the auction, thousands of Hernando County residents and visitors experience the Mobile Mural Program by attending Murals in the Park, taking the mural tour in person, partaking in the online auction, or simply driving or walking by the murals downtown!
