Artist Spotlight: Joan Lobianco

Meet Joan Lobianco!

Joan Lobianco of LoBianco's Photography is a talented photographer whose interests in photography range from portrait work to architecture, but her greatest love is wildlife and nature photography. Due to her love of nature, she has recently joined the Hernando Audubon Society and loves taking hikes and photographing wildlife with her birding friends. She is also an avid member of the Spring Hill Camera Club where she has won many awards in the monthly competitions.

She currently has photos on exhibit in Gallery 201 and has actively exhibited her work there for the past two years. She was the 1st place winner of a Hernando County Fine Arts Council’s Arts Contest in 2021, and has won awards in other contests around Florida. Recently she has been participating in the Front Porch Art Walk and hopes to exhibit her photographs in Art in the Park this March.

When she is not out taking photos, she spends most of her time with her husband of 41 years or playing with her 3 grandchildren.

Joan will be featured in the next Hernando Beach Front Porch Art Walk on November 4 from 10 AM - 2 PM to check out Joan’s work, along with 20 other artists, at local businesses along Shoal Line Blvd.
